Evan had his first dental check-up this last week. He was very excited before we arrived, but when he got into the room with all the strange equipment he became very nervous. The hygienist was great, though and got him warmed up by showing him the toy alligator they use to teach kids about what will be happening during the exam. Once Evan found out that he could watch Monsters, Inc. on the TV screen in the ceiling, he was loving it. He and Jack had another perfect cleaning with no cavities. Jack has to see an oral surgeon for a clogged saliva duct under his tongue, though. We thought it was just a recurring canker sore, but it needs some attention. They were good boys for their visit and Evan says that his favorite thing about the dentist was, "Getting the bag of prizes at the end."
