On our last rainy day in Bear Lake we drove to Montpelier, ID to see the Oregon Train Museum. I was impressed and so were the boys. There was a very friendly squirrel outside that could have sent us home with something more than the cheesy gift shop souvenirs we had our eyes on (tetanus, rabies?) Evan, in his continued desire to hug large, furry inanimate objects, was the inspiration for the bear rug shot. It was just so fun being together.

We went to this museum a couple of years ago. I was surprised at the quality and quantity of the exhibits. The favorite stop was the stuffed animals on the top floor. Yes, we have pics with the bear rug, too. Pretty cool for little boys.
