Bear Lake #1
While we were at Bear Lake we had a couple of rainy days, so we went to tour the famed Minnetonka Cave. Jack said he most liked "how the lights shined on the crystals." Evan says he most enjoyed "touching the big rock." We had Drew in the kid backpack and were at the mouth of the cave when they metioned the 800+ stairs that would be climbed during the tour. My first thought was, "Wait, I don't remember that. What have we gotten ourselves into?" Luckily the boys loved it. Drew was well behaved except that he wanted to try and talk over the tour guide when it was quiet. I remember doing this tour when I was a kid and again before my mission. I'm pretty sure the script has been the same since the 1970's. Same jokes involving the Muppets, etc.

Yes, the script is the same. We spent many a summer camping trip touring the cave. I'm so glad that your darling family got to run away for a little while. Bear Lake is a fabulous place.
