For his birthday Jack chose to take a friend to Boondocks. It was crazy and fun. Jack just finished 1st grade. He was a great student and one of the best readers in the class. He loves to think and talk about math and science and I think he has a pretty hilarious sense of humor. We have this face that we give each other that we have dubbed the "seriously?" face. We give it to each other at least once a day. We have been making a list of 100 things to do this summer and here are some of his suggestions: 1. Have a day where we write everything to each other... no talking. 2. Have a day where we just build Legos all day. 3. Have a campout in the backyard, but remind Dad to turn the sprinkling system off this time. He has not lost any teeth yet, but has his first loose one now that he has been working on. His Grandpa Green likes to offer to tie the tooth to the garage door and open it. Jack does not think this is funny. He likes to stay up late and chat with mom and dad and he is an expert at stalling for bedtime. He is playing T-ball and Targhee is his coach. He is getting good at the game and has lots of fun. Jack is an old soul in a little body and has always seemed that way to me. We love you, Jack.
