We just finished a fun weekend together in Canyon Country. Well, fun is all relative. We had as much fun as you can have with a two-year-old that refuses to obey instructions. We were surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world, but the boys were happiest in the hotel pool. We spent time in Arches, Goblin Valley and Dead Horse Point. The weather was amazing, and we just enjoyed our time together without any of the normal, everyday things that can draw our attention away from that. Some of the highlights of the trip were that Jack was the keymaster and refused to let anyone else open the door to our hotel room. Evan had a bruised heel before we left and he spent the whole trip walking with one foot on tiptoe (and not complaining about it.) Drew managed to do somersaults all day and night (including in his sleep.) Targhee most enjoyed seeing the tourist on a Vespa scooter who we would pass in all the parks with his backpack and gear on the little machine(we figure he must have had some extra gas in that backpack.) For me, the best part was just being in the desert in sandals in March.

My sister and her family went to that same area last weekend. Loved it. Glad you had a good time.
