Grandma Child A Hero
Targhee's Mom was in town last week and we got to spend some fun time with her. Jack always tells me before she gets here, "Grandma Child will be tickled to see me." He actually uses the word "tickled." She has so much energy and our boys just love her. She came over and played soccer with them one day and she also took them to the store to pick out a toy, which is what made her a hero (of course). She bought Razor scooters for the big cousins, finally bringing them out of the dark ages since, according to them, "they were the only ones in the entire school without scooters." On our boys' shopping trip Evan picked out a ride-on Thomas Engine that he loves and Jack chose his first Bionicle. Jack tells me that what he loves most about this toy is that "it has pinchers and his head can gobble up stuff and guys." The next door neighbor boy asked me yesterday if it is really true that Jack's grandma bought him a Bionicle just because she wanted to and I said, "yes" and he said , "No way." He walked away in disbelief. We always love when Targ's mom comes to town. Thanks for another fun visit, Liz!

Was it my kid who walked away in disbelief? They shouldn't be so surprised...they have grandmas that spoil them too.
Grandmas are the proof that we'll grow up to be nice people someday. My parents are always giving my kids things that I won't splurge on or am waiting for the next birthday or something. It's wonderful.
I love his vocabulary! So cute. Grandmas are the best.
We need to do dinner again soon!
